Once your EPS arrives at our Grimsby facility — or is collected from your site — it goes through a rigorous process ensuring 100% of material is recovered and reused.
Bring your EPS to our Grimsby site for free tipping, or arrange a collection. We accept fish boxes, packaging, insulation blocks, cold room panels, and all loose EPS.
Material is sorted by grade — white EPS, grey graphite EPS, fish boxes. Contaminated or non-EPS material is separated to ensure a clean feed for processing.
Loose EPS is shredded and densified under high pressure to form compact briquettes — reducing volume by up to 50:1 for cost-efficient transport to reprocessors.
Dense, solid briquettes exit the compactor — the same product we also buy directly from businesses who run their own EPS compaction on-site.
Briquettes are sent to specialist reprocessors where they are melted and granulated into high-quality polystyrene pellets — a valuable raw material for manufacturing.
Recycled PS pellets re-enter the supply chain — picture frames, skirting boards, coat hangers, insulation. The circular economy in action, zero to landfill.
